Job Description:

Build a distruptive social media platform for media industry by joining this seed funded startup at an early stage.

Roles & Responsibilities
What will you do?
1. You will work on a disruptive product that’s still in its early stages
2. You will be responsible to drive innovation in software development, while relentlessly improving performance, scalability, and maintainability
3. You will own the design process, implementation, and verification of framework components leveraging standard software engineering methodologies
4. You will be translating functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design
5. you will be responsible for mentoring other engineers, defining our technical culture, and helping to build a fast-growing team

Who are we looking for someone who

1. Is experienced in working with Golang
2. Has experience in building microservices using Golang
3. Has prior experience in building mobile consumer apps from the ground up with a track record of shipping frequent production releases
4. Experience working with Docker, Docker Compose & Kubernetes
5. Has engineered products using distributed systems
6. Has a solid foundation of systems architecture
7. Is a quick learner
8. Is comfortable with ambiguity of a startup culture.
9. Has solid grasp of computer science fundamentals
Nice to haves
1. Contributions to FOSS, StackOverflow
2. GitHub profile with your side projects - we would love to see it :)
3. You think platform and systems
4. You have worked on event driven architectures at scale
5. You have worked in a high performing consumer product team before (preferably a startup)
